Kuvaus
Interesting MB Vario 814 D as a Maxi Panel Van with variable double cab — either 6 seats or 2 seats and 2 sleeping berths.
The cargo area features built-in shelving and a workbench.
This vehicle has two additional swing doors on the right side; between them is the partition wall to the cargo compartment. The vehicle comes directly from the Federal Police and was built by specialist bodybuilder Christian Miesen.
The bodywork still has rust issues on the subsequently installed doors and hatches. However, the sill panels and chassis frame are clean and in good condition. For an additional fee, we can professionally repair the bodywork and, if desired, carry out partial refinishing. Maintenance work as well as fitting new tires can also be arranged with us.
Both the starter and auxiliary batteries have already been replaced. We have test-driven the vehicle — it runs very well. Engine, gearbox, and rear axle are dry. The auxiliary heater is functional. A recent inspection was carried out, including engine oil and brake fluid changes.
We have replaced the brake system's dryer cartridge and freshly lubricated the chassis; wiper blades have also been renewed.
This Vario is fully roadworthy.
It is equipped with a long rear axle and differential lock, axle ratio 40:11 (I = 3.636). The Vario reaches 124 km/h (according to documents) and is not speed-governed.
From March 2028, classic car registration is possible, reducing vehicle tax to only €195 per year.

4.) TÜV (inspection), emissions test, and technical conversion of vehicle category (currently still "special police vehicle") = €450 incl. VAT
